Hotel Minoya Q&A (FAQ)

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out is 10:00 am. The times may be different for some of the special plans.
From when is a cancellation fee charged?
Of the basic room rate, 30% is charged for cancellation two to three days before, 50% for the day before and 100% for same-day cancellation or a no show. For further information, please see the terms and conditions for accommodation.

Do you have a car parking lot?
Yes, we have space for 100 cars.
Do you have a shuttle service to and from the nearest station? How much is it?
We run a free shuttle service to and from JR Yahiko Station. Please apply in advance or call from Yahiko Station when you arrive.
Do you have hot spring baths for private bathing?
Unfortunately we do not.
A family member has an allergy to a certain food ingredient. Can you prepare food separately for just one person?
Depending on the reservation situation there may be times when it is not possible; however we will do what we can to accommodate your request. Please contact us to discuss the matter.
Is it possible to get around by wheel-chair in the hotel? Also, do you lend out wheel-chairs?
All our halls are barrier-free. However, please not that there is a difference in level at the entrance to the hot spring baths and the Japanese style banquet hall. There is a toilet for wheel-chair users on the 1st floor of the guest room tower (Yume-no-yakata).
A family member has leg problems. Is it possible to eat meals sat on a chair at a table?
We have high-legged trays for sixty people for use in the Japanese style rooms. Please feel free to ask us. Also, the observatory restaurant has tables and chairs. Depending on the reservation situation, it may not be possible to make arrangements on the day, so please discuss the matter with us in advance.
Do you have barrier-free rooms?
We have a 20 m2 barrier-free twin room on the Elegant floor. (2nd floor)
Is crab served at dinner?
The menu changes depending on the special plan and the season. Please inquire for details.
It is okay to take children into the large baths?
Yahiko Hot Spring (Yu-jinja Hot Spring) is a simple alkaline hot spring. The level of irritation from the water is relatively low; however children with delicate skin, such as infants, should avoid using the baths.
Do you have baby products?
We have diapers and baby wipes. Please inquire at the reception desk.
There is only one woman (or man) in our party. Can the rooms be used by one person?
We have single rooms which are used by guests on business. It is also possible for just one person to use a Japanese style room by paying an extra charge. Please feel free to ask us.
The next morning I’d like to visit the shrine and stroll around the hot spring district. Can I leave my car in your parking lot?
Yes, please feel free to leave your car in our parking lot and enjoy the Yahiko Hot Spring area.
Do you have electric bicycles to lend out to guests?
Yes, we have one bicycle, which we lend out for free. However, first come first served!
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, you can pay by JCB, VISA, MasterCard, NICOS, DC, UC, and AMEX. You can also pay by debit card.
