We hope you don’t mind that grand scenic views and murmuring streams cannot be seen from the guest rooms, and instead enjoy the lively surrounding area of streets lined with Japanese style hotels and shops.

A surprisingly unique ‘gensen-Kakenagashi’ hot spring

Yahiko Hot Spring is one of the surprisingly few gensen-kakenagashi (water flowing continuously from the source) hot spring areas in Niigata Prefecture.

The reason why we do not allow use of the hotel for bathing only

The hot spring baths at Hotel Minoya are not so large, so we do not allow visitors to use the facilities for bathing only.
The hot spring baths are for the enjoyment of guests staying overnight and day-trip bathers who also dine here at Hotel Minoya.

With the right to bid at auction, we prioritize the purchase of high quality ingredients.

We do not have guest rooms in the cool modern Japanese style which are becoming fashionable recently. We have the Roman-kan, rich with the atmosphere of Taisho-era romanticism.
You can enjoy staying in this mood created by the surrounding antique furniture, stained glass, cut glass items and others.

Our unique attraction! This golf cart is very popular with ladies and children who do not usually play golf, and works as a shuttle between our 1st to 3rd parking lots. If you so request, it will even take you round once again!(^^)
